Taqua Integrates Equinox Software

Taqua Inc. has integrated Equinox Information System’s suite of telecommunications software into the Taqua 7000 Switching System (T7000).

With the Equinox software integration, Taqua can provide its customers and prospects advanced mediation, fraud detection and network management capabilities. The platform includes real-time CDR mediation for filtering, enriching, converting, and delivering usage records to downstream processes.

The Equinox product set also includes advanced tools for network analysis, traffic engineering and ad hoc reporting, real-time CDR traces, least cost routing, and the industry’s most comprehensive fraud management system which allows carriers to identify suspicious network activity quickly and stop fraud in progress.
