Element Delivers SaaS Billing to NCTC Members

“For most operators, choosing a billing system is a very localized process. What works in a billing package for one company with 5,000 subscribers may be substantially different from the guy down the road who also has 5,000 subscribers,” Mulvenon said. “So they are always looking to us for the due diligence in looking at vendors and suppliers.”

Mulvenon said that small operators who have been priced out of the market for services from Tier 1 billing providers like CSG now have access to similar services through Element.

The NCTC is a not-for-profit programming and hardware purchasing cooperative based in Lenexa, Kan., that serves more than 1,100 cable operators throughout the United States. Its member companies own and operate cable systems serving 14 million subscribers.
