STC Implements Telcordia Granite

Saudi Telecom Co. (STC) has implemented Telcordia Granite to enhance the accuracy of its network inventory and to improve the time to process orders for its data, broadband and wholesale services. Production orders are currently being processed through Telcordia Granite Inventory in the STC system architecture.

Telcordia Granite Inventory will underpin STC’s fulfillment processes to drive continuing cost effectiveness and flexibility within its services portfolio so that growing subscriber demands are effectively met, the company said.

The national telecom provider of Saudi Arabia chose Telcordia Granite Inventory to be at the core of its new systems architecture. Telcordia professional services were also chosen to manage the project, which included the planned rollout of IP VPN and VoD broadband services to national enterprise markets. Telcordia Network Engineer and Telcordia Common Language are also being deployed.
