BEA NABS $2.2 MILLION DEAL

One 2 One, a GSM network provider, signed a $2.2 million deal with BEA Systems Inc., an e-commerce transaction company, for its WebLogic Server to run One 2 One’s Web, wireless and back-end applications. BEA Systems and Tantau Software Inc., a developer of e-commerce software and services, also plan to enable e-businesses to extend wireline e-commerce systems to the wireless world. By combining Tantau’s wireless Internet platform with WebLogic Server, banks and financial services companies can build and deploy mobile e-commerce applications.

Also Broadbase Software Inc., and BEA have recently partnered to integrate Broadbase’s analytic and marketing automation applications with BEA’s WebLogic Server, and to jointly market the product sets.
