Blueslice Releases SDS 3000 as Standalone Offering

02/02/2009

Blueslice Networks announced it is expanding its range of subscriber data management solutions with the SDS 3000. Blueslice, which has had commercial success with its HLR, HSS, AAA and SIP servers, will commercialize the Subscriber Data Server 3000 as a standalone product. The SDS 3000 currently supports Blueslice’s deployments worldwide.

Blueslice’s SDS 3000 initially was built as part of the Blueslice Converged Subscriber Platform 3000, serving as a distributed logical repository for aggregating subscriber data from all of Blueslice’s front-end SDM applications. Deployed as a standalone product, the SDS 3000 gives service providers the capabilities to consolidate subscriber profile information from existing legacy HLRs, RADIUS servers or any application server.

The SDS 3000 allows for the creation of a standard user profile across multiple services and policies, supporting both data consolidation and federation. The database is extremely scalable and supports extendible schemas to adapt to any carrier configuration or custom requirement, said the company.
