Cincinnati Bell to Use Telcordia Fulfillment Suite

Cincinnati Bell has selected the Telcordia Fulfillment Suite for its Optical Network Management platform.

The Telcordia Fulfillment Suite, which includes Telcordia Granite Inventory with the Assign and Design module, provides inventory provisioning for standardizing inventory management. It helps Cincinnati Bell automate customer provisioning and accurately record the fiber-based access equipment and configurations, the company said.

It also enables the automation of the subscriber assignment of the fiber network facilities and services using Telcordia’ life cycle management of service requests.

“The Telcordia Fulfillment Suite allows Cincinnati Bell to streamline the integration of assign/design functionality into our OSS architecture,” said Charles (Chip) Burke, vice president, information technology for Cincinnati Bell. “This is a benefit as we further extend our network infrastructure and continue to bring innovative broadband services to our customers.”
