Who among us hasn’t looked at their phone bill at one time or another and wondered, “What the heck are all these charges?” One company promises to help you understand them. ILD Teleservices has launched a new consumer Web site to help visitors learn more about bill-to-phone payment and find answers to questions about charges processed by ILD. The site is the culmination of ILD’s efforts to identify and respond to leading consumer concerns about bill-to-phone services. To that end, the site helps consumers find answers to billing questions, offers a variety of tips and tools about how to get information, and includes a path for consumers to report and resolve billing issues. Upon receiving an online inquiry from a consumer regarding a charge from a particular merchant, ILD will open an investigation with the merchant that originated the charges and work to facilitate the resolution of the issue to the consumer's satisfaction. The site also provides an overview of the company's role as a provider of bill-to-phone service, including a Flash based animation of the phone billing process. At the heart of the site is a 24 hour Resolution Center where consumers can inquire about charges that have been processed using ILD's bill-to-phone payment services.
