DigitalRoute, Sofrecom Partner for Convergent Mediation

DigitalRoute and Sofrecom say their new convergent mediation partnership should bolster each company.

The partnership combines Sofrecom’s global capabilities to offer integration services of convergent solutions for CRM, billing, mediation and network management for telecom operators with DigitalRoute’s MediationZone product. Both companies are also teamed with Highdeal, which will provide its Transactive charging solution.

Sofrecom has already implemented MediationZone and Transactive for a greenfield operator in Africa. That project was completed in four months. MediationZone was selected for online mediation of voice, data and content services, interfacing a wide range of online multi-vendor technologies including GGSNs, SGSNs, WiMax/WiFi networks and SCPs and Highdeal’s Transactive for charging.

“MediationZone’s unique architecture fits Sofrecom’s strategy perfectly. MediationZone includes all the flexibility and capacity required for complex next-generation charging architectures,” said Jean-François Fallacher, CEO of Sofrecom.
