Elanti Systems Touts Key Application for ENOS 2.1

10/26/2009

Elanti Systems today announced the first key application for its recently launched ENOS 2.1 product. The centralized control software solution for dynamic network resource management intelligently re-routes IP traffic in response to network failures and helps companies manage network resources in real time for optimal efficiency and service quality.

According to industry reports network maintenance activities account for 36 percent of all network outages, while 32 percent are caused by link failures. The third highest category is router equipment failures due to hardware or software faults. The impact of network outages on the economy is estimated to be in the hundreds of millions of dollars in lost productivity and service quality related penalties every year. ENOS, a real time intelligent routing engine for IP networks, provides telecom companies with a cost-effective option to drastically boost network resiliency while at the same time simplifying their network operations and support processes, according to Elanti.

“With services quickly moving to IP and over 60 percent of all IP traffic expected to be video in 2013, service providers need to ready their network for higher levels of resiliency,” said Michael Jaschke, CEO of Elanti Systems. “We’ve designed ENOS to help companies to cost effectively maintain the highest level of service quality in normal operations and during outages.”

Elanti says ENOS brings much needed operations intelligence and automation to telecom teams responding to network outages by computing and implementing traffic re-routing solutions that guarantee to deliver the best possible network performance for any given network condition.

“Our key differentiators are speed and accuracy,” said Jaschke. “With our system, companies can dramatically increase network resilience; significantly shortening service outages while cost effectively meeting their customers’ expectations.”

The company is putting on live demos of ENOs this week at the MPLS 2009 International Conference in Washington, D.C.
