FairPoint e-Billing Enabled in CommADVISOR TEM System

01/21/2009

Cerylion, Inc., has announced support for FairPoint Communications’ electronic billing as part of its CommADVISOR Telecom Expense Management (TEM) System for large to midsize enterprises and government agencies.

"Most billing errors can be traced to contract or service transitions. The Verizon to FairPoint transition is a large-scale example of such a transition," said Dave Snow, Cerylion's vice president, Customer and Field Operations. "FairPoint's Electronic Billing Extract (FEBE) allows CommADVISOR to fully automate the bill validation and invoice processing functions. Current and new CommADVISOR clients that are transitioning from Verizon will be able to benchmark their new FairPoint network costs, and potentially identify new opportunities to further reduce network expense."

By providing a Business Intelligence-driven application that automates key workflows, CommADVISOR enables enterprise customers to reduce costs, manage their fixed and wireless network assets and optimize their spending across the entire telecom lifecycle – all within a secure web-hosted application, said Cerylion. Enterprise customers benefit from fully automated in-cycle billing resolution and invoice processing, which eliminate the costs associated with post-payment audits, charge accounting, charge-back reporting, budget reporting and other manual processes. Active Inventory Management, Service Scorecards, Contract Analysis and Forecasting modules are built into the patented CommADVISOR platform.

CommADVISOR is delivered as a Web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, and is also provided as a fully managed service from Cerylion's CommADVISOR service partners.
