Industry Telephone Deploys CommSoft Suite

In-house BSS/OSS systems were restraining Industry Telephone Co. from connected all of its customers to the broadband world.

So it chose to install CommSoft's BSS/OSS software suite, including activation, to speed up the deployment of voice and data services. Brent Barrett, vice president of business development at Industry Telephone, said the installation has made it much easier to find and use the required data when the company wants to customize reports or applications.

CommSoft's product line includes CommVergence, CABS, Financials, Self Service EBPP, and TC (The Connection) for Service Activation. Together these solutions provide Industry Telephone with an integrated toolset that supports a platform for improved customer service and offers a single bill for its voice and data services. It also automated the provisioning process and is being used to maximize its Carrier Access Billing revenue. CommSoft's Financials helps maintain accurate fiscal information.
