LHS Expects Continued Growth

Business support systems provider LHS reported a 13 percent increase in revenue during its second quarter earnings report this week and forecast the same resulted for the second half of the year.

The Frankfurt, Germany-based company has offices in Brazil, the Czech Republic, France, Malaysia, Turkey, and United Arab Emirates. It sells telecom billing and customer care systems across the wireless, wireline, and IP telecom markets worldwide. Its results, EUR 27.2 million – or approximately $43 million – for the quarter, were bolstered by three new project contracts, two of which called for its BSCS iX Release 2 software.

BSCS iX is a billing and customer care platform that includes rating and billing for fixed, mobile and broadband technologies supporting voice, data and content. It also suports IP multimedia services, both pre- and postpaid, as well as retail billing and wholesale settlements.

LHS added 24 employees during the second quarter, bringing the total to 727. It also exceeded 100 million postpaid mobile communications customers billed with BSCS solutions.
