Mycom Releases Service Assurance Software Update

Mycom has announced the latest release of NIMS-PrOptima, following what it calls the successful live deployment, intensive usage and benchmarking with a leading European Tier 1 network operator.

The new version of the software includes a next-generation, event-based mediation layer. The constant introduction of new telecom technologies and services, combined with the ongoing evolution of telecom standards, has significantly increased the number of data sources, domains and devices that Mycom says need to be managed by the service assurance solutions.

Mycom says its solution allows operators to get real time access to end-to-end network and service performance. This, together with new state-of-the-art intelligent analysis modules and enhancements to existing modules, enables operational teams to maintain high levels of service quality expected by customers.
