New Airspan WiMAX Suite Aimed at Rural Markets

Airspan Networks has unveiled its 700 MHz WiMAX product suite. It’s aimed at rural markets both in the United States and around the globe.

Airspan says the 700 MHz signal can penetrate obstacles like trees and buildings. It can also travel farther than higher frequency solutions, making it ideal for rural locations, said the company.
