PERUVIAN FIRM LICENSES BSCS

LHS Group Inc. has licensed its Business Support and Control System (BSCS) customer care and billing product to Communicaciones Nextel de Peru S.A. LHS will also provide the Latin American operator with implementation and other related services. Financial terms were not disclosed. The system initially will support a subscriber base of 40,000 subscribers using Nextel International’s Digital Enhanced Network from Motorola Inc.
