Qwest’s Nacchio Headed for the Pokey?

Alas, poor Nacchio (a little Shakespearian reference there in honor of a very Shakesepear-esque saga). The disgraced former CEO of Qwest Communications International Inc. (Q) likely is prison-bound.

Joe Nacchio, convicted in 2007 of $52 million worth of insider trading, has been free on appeal but his time on the outside will end soon unless his case heads to the Supreme Court. The 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Wednesday upheld Nacchio's conviction.

If Nacchio doesn’t get his case in front of Supreme Court judges, he stands to serve a six-year prison term.
