Evolving Systems Grows Tertio OSS with Service Verification

Evolving Systems Inc., a Colorado-based software provider for the wireless, wireline and IP carrier market,  announced the release of a new product in its Tertio Service Activation OSS. It is a Service Verification tool that proactively reveals and corrects inconsistencies in subscriber service data between customer management systems, billing systems, and the service layer resources in the network.

The Tertio Service Verification software complements Tertio Service Activation OSS by providing carriers with an intelligent subscriber data management device and by improving utilization of resources.

The new product also addresses discrepencies that arise through data corruption, unmonitored manual processes, and fraud.

Thad Dupper, president and CEO of Englewood, Colo.-based Evolving Systems, said that with Tertio Service Verification, service providers can address a broader range of the customer lifecycle. One of the first service providers to implement Service Verification is German Broadband Carrier Unitymedia NRW GmbH.

Evolving Systems acquired UK-based Tertio in November of 2004.
