Telstra Reaches IP Telephony Deployment Milestone

Telstra says its reached a major milestone, having deployed more than 10,000 new IP telephony services across the organization. They’re calling it the largest ever rollout of hosted IP telephony in Australia.

The company says this is an important step in the internal upgrade of its existing CustomNet voice solution. Executive director Paul Geason says this shows how Telstra is benefitting from the same products and services it makes available to its customers.
