One of the leading industry voices, particularly in business and operations supports systems, Rob Rich, will lead a new market research initiative within the TM Forum. Former Yankee Group vice president, Paul Hughes, and former IDC analyst Shira Levine also will join the initiative known as TM Forum Insights. TM Forum Insights’ research agenda spans services and strategies and includes service delivery and service assurance through to revenue management and customer experience. As part of the previously announced Transformation Resource Center, TM Forum Insights will establish the TM Forum as an industry neutral, research resource for the information, communications and entertainment industries, including service providers, systems integrators, vendors and the investment community. Rich’s title is managing director of TM Forum Insights. He said the group, backed by the forum’s unparalleled resources, is uniquely positioned to offer a global market analysis service related to transformation initiatives and trends. “We plan to provide our clients with actionable recommendations to support new service creation, delivery and monetization, end-to-end, across complex value chains,” he said. TM Forum Insights will provide research-led guidance to its collaboration community programs, successful global events program and publications activities.
