A new product from VoIP Logic delivers an easy-to-use, hosted tool for real-time reporting and access to call records and other raw user data, said the company. It’s called CDR Manager, a call detail record management module for VoIP Logic’s Cortex OSS middleware. Micah Singer, VoIP Logic CEO and founder, said, “CDR Manager is our latest module aimed at providing integration between great systems and the monitoring and management tools carriers and services providers require to run them. All types of users of VoIP - ISPs, VoBBs, IT Services companies – all require analytic knowledge of their core VoIP calling networks.” Cortex acts as a single point of integration for all components of a VoIP rollout, as carriers and service providers facilitate both the basics of provisioning, billing and customer portals, as well as the more complex integration of additional elements as carriers and service providers expand the portfolio of communications services they offer to their respective customers. CDR Manager provides raw data on recent system usage, call durations, summary reporting on telecom statistics login access by endpoint or carrier and output in excel format of raw reporting. The announcement was made at last week's ITExpo West 2008 in Los Angeles.
